Concrete Polishing & Epoxy Systems

Polishing Concrete is a complex procedure, it’s not hard, but it does involve many complexities that affect the polishing process.

Concrete polishing and epoxy coating encompass two main scientific disciplines:

  • Physics
  • Chemistry

Chemistry and physics play a significant role in the process of polishing and coating concrete surfaces.

Weight of the machinery, speed of the satellite heads, style of diamond tolling and operator’s speed are some examples of the physics in concrete polishing.

It is also essential for contractors to possess a thorough understanding of the purpose behind applying specific chemicals and comprehensively grasp how these chemicals react and perform. This knowledge is crucial for ensuring the appropriate selection and application of chemicals.

Our team at CPM possesses a distinct advantage due to our diverse and experienced backgrounds as engineers, construction managers, and highly skilled craftsmen. This collective expertise allows us to exceed our clients' expectations and deliver exceptional satisfaction. We leverage our comprehensive knowledge and skills to go above and beyond to provide outstanding results for our clients.

MULTI-COATINGS

Restore old concrete or add beauty to freshly placed concrete. The top concrete coating system serves as a super bonding, flexible, cementitious coating that forms a cost-effective, durable, cool, anti-skid, weather and chemical-resistant surface over properly prepared substrates.

It can be applied to pool decks, Patios, driveways, walkways, steps, concrete decks, buildings, bridges, etc.

MICRO TOPPING

MICRO TOPPING is an interior cementitious coating comprised of cement-based materials in conjunction with a series of clear epoxy resins and sealers.

Ideal for high foot traffic areas. The abuse resistance of these products makes this a perfect selection for most interior applications.

STAMPABLE OVERLAY

OVERLAY STAMP MIX is a latex-based, cementitious coating that is applied to existing concrete slabs. Imprinting of the pattern is achieved through the use of texturing mats, which create the stamped concrete image.

CONCRETE STAIN

MULTI-STAIN is a penetrating, translucent stain that can be used on most concrete surfaces. The use of a Clear Sealer is recommended to lock in the color and seal the application.

Other design options include multi-stain finishes and stencil patterns such as slate, stone, tile, brick, marble, etc. The system is completed with two coats of seal and protection system.

WATERPROOFING SYSTEMS:

ABOVE GRADE WATERPROOFING

The METAL LATHE WATERPROOFING SYSTEM is a multi-layer, protective coating which combines an elastomeric waterproofing membrane with a reinforced latex-modified cementitious top coating system. This system is designed to withstand heavy foot traffic on walkways, decks, ramps, balconies, roofs, etc. The system is designed to be applied to wood substrates in need of a waterproofing and/or fire-resistant protective coating.

WATER FEATURE WATERPROOFING

The waterproofing system is ideal for ponds and water features. It forms an elastic waterproof membrane with a hard, durable protective layer.

PREMIUM BELOW GRADE WATERPROOFING

The below-grade waterproofing system incorporates a cold-applied waterproofing membrane, and It is used in conjunction with a polymer-modified cement coating which acts as the protective shell.

This system forms a tough, rubber-like, heavy-duty membrane that stops water and can have backfill directly against it. Ideal for applications over the block, poured-in-place concrete, Insulated Concrete Form, and most masonry substrates.
